A well-sequenced series of multi-muscle exercises led by a no-nonsense instructor. You'll combine weight-room-style moves with quick transitions and near-aerobic pacing to build strength, stamina and endurance. Each five-minute "track" features two complimentary sets of exercises (e.g. dead lifts are paired with lat rows to tone your glutes and strengthen your back muscles). Jari boosts the interest with pulses, balance moves and varied ranges of motion. She also maximizes results by carefully matching the weight level to the movement and often incorporating an optional step (e.g. stepping on and off the step while doing bicep curls). Workout is divided into two half-hour sections.
Requires two sets of dumbbells (e.g. 5 and 10 lb.); a step is optional.
